Bombshell Bakes started with one cake and one yes.
Raised in the kitchen among her mother, grandmothers, and aunts, Brandi learned early that food isn’t just about flavor, it’s about bringing people together.
Brandi grows up in the kitchen surrounded by her mother, grandmothers, and aunts — learning early that food is connection, creativity, and community. Hosting fish-fries, Sunday dinners, and feeding her college campus becomes second nature.
Her brother later uncovers an old childhood notebook filled with restaurant plans the two sketched together — a dream Brandi never remembered writing, but one that quietly shaped her future.
Bombshell Bakes is unintentionally born when Brandi drops off a cake at a local barbershop.
A simple question — “Do you do this for other people?” — becomes the moment she says, “I do now.”
From her apartment kitchen, she begins experimenting, baking, and taking small orders.
What started as a passion project becomes a legally established business, grounded in quality, community, and joyful experiences.
Bombshell’s cookies, cakes, and desserts build a loyal following throughout the Tri-State region.
Brandi expands into custom desserts, community pop-ups, brand collaborations, and her signature cookie campaigns.
Brandi competes in Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship: Gingerbread Showdown, winning her baking challenge and marking Bombshell Bakes’ first national recognition.
